Setting up a new business

Hi all,

I thought id write a little piece on how the recent few weeks/ months have been interesting for me and how I've managed to turn a negative into a positive by developing my own business.

As you all may know, I used to work at a company that dealt with clients looking for office space globally. Now, as they are one of the market leaders in the sector and have been for sometime, I had the pleasure of speaking to very intellectual individuals who have been in the industry a while. During my time there I developed skills i didn't even know I had and expand my knowledge of the very niche market.

Whilst there I started to notice little gaps in where things could have been done more effectively or handled in a different way and any criticism i raised with management was brushed aside and never noted. I started to ask myself 'Why are we missing things like this'? or 'How would I do certain things differently if i was in a decision maker'? Sadly, after 7 months due to downsizing the company and I parted ways.

I think that was the light bulb moment when I told myself I was going to do it, I was going to run a company without the flaws that I've spotted! I was going to set up a business that took out all of the complex motions a client has to go through and make searching for an office plain and simple. This business would change the way searching for an office is done.

Since then i've been working tirelessly trying to tie bits and pieces together to make my dream come true.

I honestly cannot wait to launch this new website as all I have had so far is positive feedback.
